My single camera drama diary entries

I feel as though I have a decent idea for this project but I need to develop it a lot more than I have. I talked to Jemma about this idea and she liked it but thought that there needs to be more development as well. The main thing I need to do is create an actual storyline instead because at the moment I've only got possible situations. The only thing I am worried about is the actual storyline, I don't want to do something to big because I might not be able to do it but at the same time I don't want it to be boring, The main point of my idea is that it is character driven. My idea is about a protagonist Who can go back in time to change one thing but he has one chance, he can't overlap his timeline more than twice. This means he could stop himself tripping on the first day of school and is no longer a joke to the rest of the school. However this could cause his best friend to trip, the one person who stayed by him, didn't laugh at him and didn't ridicule him. So he would lose that connection but he would be with the cool kids.

Now that I have used after effects I have thought of creating an effect for my short film. He is going to time travel so I am now thinking of creating an effect for when he does. I will most likely use the colour correction on it for my short film.

Single camera drama proposal

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is David Neale, writing to you to persuade you to fund my short film idea.

The working title is called "Reversal". The intended audience for his film will be aged 15-18. This is because it can be relatable to them. They will be in education and have no employment.

The basic concept of this film is that the main protagonist, Adam constantly says sarcastic comments which get Martin angry. Martin gets too fed up that he invites Adam upstairs for a drink which Martin gets the chance to kill Adam by stabbing him with a kitchen knife. This is when Adam finds out that he can go back in time. He then has to relive that day until he can fix the situation to stop Martin stabbing him.

In this film I want to create an effect for when he goes back in time. For sound I will probably be using a rode videomic because it is more accessible to carry around and it provides good sound.
